If you see Chris Schultz this month, be sure to wish him a happy work anniversary! Chris will be celebrating two years as the solution architect for Buffalo and Western New York markets on April 25. But, for Chris, his job isn’t work.

“If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life,” he shares, borrowing the essence of the famous quote. He goes on to explain he thoroughly enjoys what he does because the job combines two of his passions – technology and people.

Chris spends his work days as a technical consultant focusing on facilitating meaningful conversations to understand clients’ business needs and objectives. He then leverages his years of expertise to make recommendations on products and services will provide positive IT outcomes for them. His knowledge and experience come from more than 15 years of technical, internal and external sales, and management positions with IBM Enterprise Storage and Hewlett-Packard at Ingram Micro as a technical account manager as well as positions as a business technology manager at Doric Vault of WNY.

A lifelong Buffalonian, Chris attended Medaille College where he graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s in Business Administration and Management. He went on to earn several certifications including HPE Sales Certified-Enterprise Solutions; Network Security Engineer 1, 2 and 3; IBM Storage Midrange Technical; and Extreme Networks Sales Professional. Today, his customers and coworkers describe him as a results-driven, technically focused and business savvy professional.

Though he loves what he does, Chris isn’t all business. He loves to work on classic cars and is proud of the 1973 Nova he restored from the “ground up”. His free time, he and his wife keep busy keeping up with their almost 2-year-old daughter, Reagan; two chocolate labs, Lailey and Kona; and cat, Keira.
