It’s never easy to say “good-bye”, especially to someone who put his heart and soul into building Networking Technologies. Ned Reade, who strategically positioned Networking Technologies to be a leader in network consulting, has retired from Reabah, Inc. effective December 2017.

Ned began his career by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Clarion University. Since then, he has managed and developed retail consumer electronics and computer stores for leading national retailers including Radio Shack and Computer Land. In 1998, Ned and Reabah Inc. CEO Jim Bahm recognized the need for local advanced network consulting and technical support. Together they created Networking Technologies where Ned has served as Vice President of Operations until his retirement in December 2017. In all, Ned has amassed more than 30 years of experience in leadership, network consulting, technical sales, solutions architecture, cloud services and more.

Ned’s portfolio of accomplishments is robust including not only network and database administration but also several committee assignments at the Pennsylvania State level involving the strategic planning and deployment of technology initiatives for the criminal justice system. He is also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.

Outside of work, Ned serves on the board of the Sight Center of NWPA. He also is a longtime active member of the Wilderness Wildcats, a cross-country skiing development program operated out of Wilderness Lodge. In 2017, Ned spearheaded a new program at Wilderness Lodge that teaches blind or visually impaired children to cross-country ski. An outdoor sports enthusiast, he has also competed in the Highmark QUAD games and several 5Ks through the Erie Runners Club.

While the staff and clients of Networking Technologies and Teceri will miss Ned’s expertise, work ethic and dry sense of humor, we know he will keep busy spending time with his family and the activities and organizations he holds dear.
