Craig Allison knows a thing or two about sales – he’s been doing it for over 35 years. As the company’s director of sales, Craig embodies Networking Technologies’ dedication to providing the best customer service in the industry. His extensive experience in the technology sector has enabled him to offer solutions to the most complex technological challenges. Below, Craig shares some insights about his work at the company:
Q: What made you want to join Networking Technologies?
A: I was blown away by Networking Technologies’ deep dedication to customer service. It’s not only company-wide – it’s part of their DNA. Look, any company will agree that customer service is crucial. But actually providing world-class customer service, consistently, is very difficult. A lot of moving parts need to be moving properly, and that depends on the team. Not many companies can do it. Networking Technologies does it every day.
Q: What are you looking forward to most about working for Networking Technologies?
A: The pandemic has created unprecedented technical problems for networking. The good news is that all the brightest minds in our industry are working on solutions. For me, it’s thrilling to see all the innovation taking place. We’ve been forced to reach out and pull the future into the present, so to speak. That gives us the tools to solve tough challenges for our customers.
Q: What do you think is the coolest thing about Networking Technologies?
A: Our awesome team. My colleagues are curious, creative, and have great passion for what they do. When you spend more time at work than at home, having great coworkers makes all the difference in the world.
Q: Do you have any big plans for your work in the coming year or two? If so, what are they?
A: I love mentoring younger sales professionals. I’ve been in the game for over three decades. It’s fair to say I’ve learned a lot. I feel as though I have a responsibility to pass along what I know. It’s wonderfully satisfying to see them successfully apply what I taught them.
Q: What gets you up in the morning?
A: A strong cup of coffee. Well, my family is everything to me, and taking care of them motivates me the most. I also look forward to tackling new challenges every day. My worst nightmare is being bored – and that definitely never happens at Networking Technologies. That’s what’s great, no two days are the same.
