With nearly 50 years of combined experience in the data communications field, CEO Jim Bahm and Ned Reade pooled their networking talents and expertise in 1998 to form Networking Technologies. Both Jim and Ned recognized a great need for one local source for advanced network consulting and technical support in Northwestern Pennsylvania.
With a vision for a customer-oriented provider of data communications consulting and technical services, the management and leadership team drive Networking Technologies from a core of values contained in their mission statement – providing the best customer service with honesty and integrity.
Prior to founding Networking Technologies with Ned Reade in 1998, Jim provided computer and network services for the federal government, telecommunications and healthcare industries. With more than 20 year of comprehensive technology experience, he confidently drives the technical direction of Networking Technologies and our numerous business customers. Jim received Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Duquesne University, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Erie Technology Incubator at Gannon University and Lake View Development Corporation.
Rich has over 35 years’ experience in Sales and Sales Management with Technology products and services including all types of hardware, software and consulting and professional services. After graduating from Allegheny College with a BA, he started his professional sales career at Xerox Corporation where he was a consistent overachiever as a Sales Executive, Sales Manager and District Systems Manager. From there Rich continued his sales leadership in the ERP software space providing enterprise solutions in the world of Manufacturing and distribution. Prior to joining Networking Technologies Rich held various sales and sales management roles for organizations like Digital Equipment, BAAN International, Caelus, Inc., and ASK Software.
Co-founder Ned Reade is responsible for the engineering solutions for customers which provide the best I.T. outcomes. As a technical sales professional with over 20 years of experience, he expertly assists the sales team on customer projects. Ned received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Clarion University and previously managed and developed retail consumer electronics and computer stores for leading national retailers. Ned has also served on several state-level criminal justice system committees involving the strategic planning and deployment of technology initiatives.
As the service team leader at Networking Technologies, Dave is responsible for all customer support, projects, and Operations Center Management. Dave received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Gannon University and an MBA from St. Bonaventure University. Prior to joining Networking Technologies, he spent over 20 years in various management roles primarily in the telecommunications field as well as manufacturing.
As the Operations Manager at Networking Technologies, Wendy is responsible for maintaining operational relationships with our Vendors and Distributors, administering our CRM Business Automation software, creation of our customer contracts, and management of compliance requirements for state contracts. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems from Penn State Behrend and has significant corporate-level experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and purchase of PCs, printers, and other peripheral devices.
