Networking Technologies, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting personal information used in connection with the Employee Short Message Service (SMS) program. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when employees opt in to receive employment-related SMS notifications.

This policy applies only to the Company SMS service used for employment-related communications, including on-call alerts, outage updates, escalations, reminders, and related service notifications.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following information in connection with this service:

  • Name and mobile phone number
  • Message content and interaction history, including opt-in and opt-out records
  • Employment-related context provided for support or delivery purposes

How We Use Information

We use this information to:

  • Deliver on-call SMS notifications to the on-call technician and management.

Employees may opt in through the On-Call Manager enrollment process at https://forms.net-cloud.com/oncall-manager and then confirm from the same mobile number by sending a supported keyword.

Program notice:

Networking Technologies On-Call Manager sends employment-related SMS notifications (on-call alerts, outages, escalations, and reminders). Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency will vary depending on the number of on-call tickets received, and the response time of the on-call technician. Messages will only be received when the technician is on-call. Consent is activated when the employee enrolls a mobile number, affirms SMS consent, and sends a supported confirmation keyword (JOIN, START, YES, or UNSTOP) from the enrolled number. Consent is not a condition of employment, any purchase, or receiving any benefit.

Data Sharing and Non-Sharing of Opt-In Data

We share information only as needed:

  • With service providers, such as SMS platform vendors and related delivery providers, as necessary to operate and deliver this service, and subject to applicable confidentiality and data protection obligations
  • When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, property, or safety

Important:

Mobile information, including phone numbers and opt-in consent data collected for this SMS service, will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose phone numbers or SMS opt-in/consent information for non-service-related use.

Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.

Retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary to support the purposes described in this policy, satisfy employment-related business needs, and meet legal obligations.

Employee Rights and Choices

  • Supported commands: JOIN, START, YES (opt in); HELP (support); STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT, REVOKE (opt out); UNSTOP or JOIN (re-enable)
  • Opt-out: Reply STOP or any supported opt-out keyword to end messages
  • Re-enable: Reply UNSTOP or text JOIN to the designated Company SMS number
  • Access, correction, or deletion requests: contact service@net-cloud.com or 814-836-0000 (subject to legal retention requirements)

Message Frequency and Carrier Charges

Message frequency will vary depending on the number of on-call tickets received, and the response time of the on-call technician. Messages will only be received when the technician is on-call. Message and data rates may apply based on carrier terms. The Company does not charge employees for participating in this SMS service. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued participation in the SMS service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
